Vietnam & Hong Kong, November 2024

I visited Vietnam for the first time in November with stops in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. While I there primarily to visit schools and universities and get a sense of the educational community, I was able to take a little time to do some street photography.

There is a huge motor scooter and bike culture in Vietnam. I was struck by the various vehicular situations, with entire families on a motor scooter, the delivery services and ride-share on scooters, people on their phones while riding, etc.

Then it was off to Hong Kong before returning to Los Angeles. Here are some images from walking around the city. I was primarily in Tsim Sha Tsui during this stop.
