Special Dinner with Chef Yu Bo and Fuchsia Dunlop

James Beard Award-winning writer Fuchsia Dunlop was in Los Angeles on her book tour for the release of her seventh book, Invitation to a Banquet: The Story of Chinese Food. I reconnected with her for a special dinner with noted Sichuan chef Yu Bo (who now lives in LA), who she has known for over 20 years. I got to know Fuchsia when I asked her to be our culinary tour guide for a faculty trip to Chengdu, Hangzhou, and Shanghai in the summer of 2019. She curated every lunch and dinner over a two week period. I invited a group of friends for a conversation with Fuchsia and a multi-course dinner by Yu Bo.
